The Maryland Horse Council has experienced new and exciting changes in 2018, including the acquisition of The Equiery, a new Executive Director position funded through MHC’s Go Pro initiative, and receipt of a large national grant to develop the Maryland Equine Transition Service (METS). To take advantage of these significant accomplishments and position the MHC for even more growth over the next five years the Board of Directors, after a six-month process, ratified a new strategic plan. Thoughtful implementation of this plan will help the MHC reach its full potential in unifying and serving the Maryland horse community and ensuring that Maryland remains a state where horses, and the people involved with horses, are welcomed and can thrive.
The MHC is seeking a motivated professional to serve as its Executive Director.
